Should atheists witness more?

They did this on the last census too. Many people listed Non-Religious as their "religion". That doesn't mean they're atheist, as agnostic, gnostic, pagan, etc... usually list themselves as Non-Religious. Being a Pagan, I normally use Non-Religious because I'm not part of any mainstream religion that is recognized by our gov't (US gov't, btw). I've noticed a lot of atheists love to use that high # for Non-Religious when they don't really know what the people mean by that term. So I guess we'll have to see what this new census brings. But the last one, they had the opportunity to list themselves as atheist and didn't. A lot of people just used the Non-Religious. So I'm sticking with my original umption... that they still hold onto some kind of belief... but like many of us here, they're tired of the mainstream bullshit.
