Question on popular book beginnings?

well like u siad the harry potter books. i like the 6th one where hes sleeping and thers all the headline of the newpapers and letters, it gives background info without u realizing it. thats the thing u have to do. if the readers realize that theyre being told the background they lose interest. good luck!!
