Why do so many people doubt the bears?

i mean i can understand why you would think the packers are better, but if you think about it, green bay went 10-6 and chicago was 12-4, the bears almost definetly would have won week 17 if they had their starters out, and they pretty much d the seahawks (at least until the end), which is something the defending champs couldnt do
