Please help!! Just when to bathroom......is this normal?

I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant with our first. Everything is very new to me. When I just went to the bathroom there was a brownish / reddish discharge. After that 3 bright drops of blood. Is this ok???? I've got bronchitis (can you believe it) and are using antibiotics the doctor prescribed. It's suppose to be ok when pregnant. Am I ok? Please help! Anyone else ever experience this?
