How do you deal with an attention seeking three year old who acts negatively despite positive attention?

oh wow,you have your hands full, and it shouldn't have to be that way because the cl does not revolve around him. Quite honestly, it seems to me like he just needs a little bit of love. He probably doesn't get hugs or any attention at home, except the attention when he is misbehaving or acting out, so that is all he knows. Really, my suggestion is to try and just give him a little hug and tell him he is a good boy and it makes you and everybody around him happy when he BEHAVES like a good boy! Maybe u can even reward him (and the other kids as well) when they do things that exhibit good or positive behavior and sort of "ween" him out of that bad behavior. Also, another suggestion I might make is not to give him a special section of the room during nap time, as he might translate that as rewarding bad behavior. I hope I helped! Good luck!
